Rain Rain and more….

As much as I hoped for a little rain for the garden, this is not exactly what I wanted. The new second hand hedges will love it as long as the wind doesn’t blow them out of the ground. I can see my latest Wonderland art piece in pieces from the window so that will need to be rescued when the rain stops. Irises are blooming but the rain is damaging and this mornings garden tour group had to postpone till next weekend… f the rain has stopped by then. All in all…unpredictable weather isn’t great!! Come on Summer!

The roses are hanging in there.. they are used to the wind. Here’s hoping there will still be some colour left in the garden after the stormy weather. I guess that’s the challenge, the gardener versus the garden and nature.
