Whimsy

I've always loved adding little "extras" to our gardens. Don just smiles and shakes his head but I know he quite likes them. Today I wanted to get the wonderland garden a bit further along the way.I made toadstool table tops and as soon as I can find my stencils I'll get onto the chessboard table. I made the caterpillar with Paverpol and put the first coat of blue on him today. His hookah pipe came from Dubai so it's authentic...I hope it suits him. There will be 2 toadstool tables/seats and a couple of other seats to sit at the Pétanque pit. Oh yes there's a pétanque pit!!well there will be. "The Mad Hatters Pétanque Pit"..of course!

My work bench is a mess...red paint, white paint, blue paint, top hats, caterpillar and a bowl of crystals... a hookah, a lot of glue and fabric so hoping that by next week ( if the weather improves) we might have a Winderland of sorts!

I have agave, cannas and toe toe in place plus some pots... a couple of mosaic paths to work on over the next month and a small arbor for the Pétanque area.. just a small one.

So.. it's all go.

And.. great news. I have a garden club booked for next week. Tudor Garden is open for business!!!!
